# About Idle Pilot

Idle Pilot is a cloud-based presence scheduler for Slack or Microsoft Teams. Set your work hours once. Idle Pilot keeps your selected platform available from the cloud—even when your laptop is closed, asleep, or off.

## Who runs Idle Pilot

Idle Pilot LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, makes and runs Idle Pilot. This site, idlepilot.com, has the product information, pricing, security, and legal pages. The web app runs at app.idlepilot.com.

## What Idle Pilot does and does not do

- It keeps your availability on Slack or Microsoft Teams during the Work Hours you choose, from the cloud.
- You connect one platform at a time.
- It manages availability only. It does not read, send, or change messages or files.
- You can pause it or disconnect the platform at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account.

## How setup works

Setup needs desktop Google Chrome and the Idle Pilot extension once. You connect Slack or Microsoft Teams in the browser, and then you can remove the extension. After setup, the schedule runs in the cloud, even when your computer is off.

## Price and trial

Idle Pilot costs $9 per month or $60 per year. The trial starts when you connect Slack or Teams.

There is one plan, Freedom Pass. The trial is free, needs no credit card, and lasts 7 days, or 14 days if you connect Slack or Teams within 3 hours of sign-up.
