# Change privacy and recording preferences

Manage optional analytics, ad measurement, and session recordings, and understand browser privacy signals and withdrawal limits.

## Where can I switch off optional measurement or recordings?

The controls are labeled in English even when you ask support in another language: look for **Privacy settings** in the website or app footer and **Save preferences** in that panel. Choose **Privacy settings**. Turn **Analytics**, **Advertising measurement**, and **Session recordings** off as wanted and choose **Save preferences**. If the screen says your browser privacy signal blocks optional measurement and session recordings, those choices are already blocked and their switches may be unavailable. You can return to change choices later. Session recordings require analytics and explicit permission in every region and cover interactions inside Idle Pilot, not elsewhere on your computer.

Rejecting optional measurement does not stop essential sign-in or schedule functions. Essential operational error reporting remains enabled. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent before it.
