# Add or change a lunch break

Set one lunch break for selected days, review the work hours applied with it, and understand when presence pauses and resumes.

## Where do I add a lunch break?

Open **Dashboard → Work Hours → Edit**. Select the affected days, turn **Lunch break** on, and set **Break start** and **Break end**. Review **From** and **To** too: applying this edit saves those hours and the break together, and enables every selected day. Use separate edits for days with different work hours. Then choose **Apply to N days**. The break must start before it ends and fit inside From/To. To remove it, edit those days, turn Lunch break off, review From/To, and apply.

During that break Idle Pilot stops maintaining availability, then resumes while the work window remains open and access/connection are usable. Your own Slack/Teams activity may still show you as active. Each day supports one optional break, not multiple independent breaks. Check the saved weekday and time zone if a break seems wrong.
