## Where can I read the terms and privacy policy?

Open [https://idlepilot.com/terms/](https://idlepilot.com/terms/) and [https://idlepilot.com/privacy/](https://idlepilot.com/privacy/). They are also linked from the sign-in screen and website footer. These answers explain the practical points; the full published policies govern your use and should be checked for a particular concern.

## Who operates Idle Pilot?

Idle Pilot is operated by Idle Pilot LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. For questions about the terms or privacy requests, contact [support@idlepilot.com](mailto:support@idlepilot.com). For ordinary product help, use the in-app **Support** action or [hi@idlepilot.com](mailto:hi@idlepilot.com).

## Who can use an account?

The terms require you to be at least **18**. Each account is for one person, and login access should not be shared. One linked Slack workspace or Teams account is supported at a time. Do not create multiple accounts for the same person or use automated signups.

## Is this allowed by Slack?

A successful connection is not a guarantee of permission from Slack or your employer. Use Idle Pilot only where your organization's rules, your employment agreements, and the connected platform's terms allow it. If you are unsure, check with the relevant workplace administrator before connecting.

## Does Idle Pilot guarantee that my employer cannot detect it?

No. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but administrators or workplace security tools may still see account sessions or a connection from outside your computer. Do not interpret the absence of a bot or removable extension as invisibility, workplace approval, or protection from employment consequences.

## What does Idle Pilot not do?

It does not read or send your Slack/Teams messages, respond to coworkers, make calls, move a mouse, inspect work files, or monitor employees. It does not guarantee that an Available indicator means work was performed. It does not override your organization's sign-in restrictions.

## What data do you store about me?

Account basics such as name/email, the workplace account you choose, Work Hours and other preferences, the connection information needed to maintain availability, activity history, and subscription/billing records needed to operate the service. Idle Pilot does not collect workplace-message or file content for this purpose. Review the privacy policy for the full data categories and uses.

## Does Idle Pilot store my full card number?

No. Idle Pilot's published policy says full card numbers are not stored by Idle Pilot. Enter payment details only on the secure checkout or subscription-management page opened by the app, never in the support chat.

## Do you sell my data?

No. The privacy policy says Idle Pilot does not sell personal information. It does use service providers to deliver the app, sign-in, payments, email, and optional measurement. That is different from saying that no information is ever shared with a service provider. See the full privacy policy for the list and your choices.

## How do I change privacy or cookie choices?

The controls are labeled in English even when you ask support in another language: look for **Privacy settings** in the website or app footer and **Save preferences** in that panel. Choose **Privacy settings**. Review the categories, change the optional choices, and choose **Save preferences**. You can come back to change them later. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent creating an account or running the essential product functions.

## Why did I see a consent choice on one visit but not another?

The policy applies different rules based on the region it detects. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada, optional measurement waits for consent. In other or unknown regions, visit/ad measurement can begin unless you opt out. A saved refusal takes priority. You can always open **Privacy settings** to review or change your choices.

## Are session recordings always enabled?

No. Optional session recordings require explicit permission in every region, as well as analytics permission. You can turn them off in **Privacy settings**. These recordings relate to interactions inside Idle Pilot, not activity elsewhere on your computer. Essential operational error reporting is separate from optional recordings.

## Do you respect browser privacy signals?

The published policy says Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track block optional measurement and session recordings. In **Privacy settings**, a browser-signal message means those choices are already blocked; their switches may be unavailable. Essential sign-in, account functions, and operational error reporting remain enabled.

## What happens when I withdraw optional measurement permission?

Open **Privacy settings**, turn the relevant categories off, and save. This stops the corresponding optional measurement and clears related information as described in the policy. It does not undo information already sent before withdrawal. For an account-specific data request, contact [support@idlepilot.com](mailto:support@idlepilot.com); if you are signed out or offline, some account-related cleanup waits until you reconnect and sign in.

## What happens when I disconnect or delete my account?

Disconnecting through **Dashboard → Switch → Remove** stops presence and removes that workplace connection's access details. Full account deletion is requested through Support or [support@idlepilot.com](mailto:support@idlepilot.com). Billing records that must be retained for tax/accounting purposes are handled under the privacy policy. Ask support to confirm your request's scope and completion rather than treating disconnection as full account deletion.

## Can you access other users in my workspace?

Idle Pilot's connection is for your selected workplace account; the product does not read or interact with other workspace members' messages or files. It is not a workspace-management or employee-monitoring dashboard. Do not send information about coworkers to support unless it is necessary and appropriate.

## Is my account connection completely risk-free?

No service can promise perfect security or uninterrupted access. Idle Pilot limits the use of your connection to its stated presence function. You can disconnect it using **Switch → Remove** and request account deletion through support. Review the privacy policy and your organization's rules before using it.

## What are the main subscription conditions?

Freedom Pass is paid monthly or annually and renews according to the chosen subscription. You actively purchase it; a no-card trial alone does not charge you. Cancel future renewals using **Manage subscription** and finish the cancellation. Paid access remains until the paid period ends. Sales are final and the terms do not provide partial-period refunds or credits.

## What if the service is unavailable or Slack/Teams changes?

The terms do not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent compatibility with every workplace setup. If something stops working, read the Dashboard warning, follow the relevant recovery steps, and contact Support if needed. Do not assume every interruption automatically creates a refund or compensation entitlement.

## What uses are prohibited?

The terms prohibit unlawful use, interfering with the service, reverse engineering its code, reselling or sublicensing access, sharing account access, multiple accounts for one person, and automated account creation. Use the product for your own permitted availability schedule.

## Can Idle Pilot suspend an account?

The terms allow suspension or termination for abuse, fraud, reselling, automated account creation, or behavior that threatens the service. They describe notice where reasonable, with exceptions for action that needs to happen immediately. Contact Support about a specific account issue rather than creating another account to bypass it.

## Can I resell Idle Pilot or use its branding as my own?

No permission to resell, sublicense, or claim ownership is granted by a subscription. The service, design, code, and branding remain Idle Pilot's intellectual property. Contact the company for a question about an intended use outside your personal subscription.

## Will the terms or prices ever change?

The terms describe at least 30 days' notice for material terms changes and 30 days' notice for price changes. A price change applies at the next billing period. Read notices sent to your account and review checkout/renewal information before deciding what to keep.

## What do the terms say about liability and disputes?

They limit liability for indirect losses, including employment/income consequences, and cap total liability as described by the amounts paid in the preceding 12 months. They specify Delaware law and individual binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules, with the stated exceptions. Read the full terms and seek qualified advice if you need to understand a legal dispute; the assistant cannot decide your legal rights or promise an outcome.

## Will IT or my manager see anything unusual?

A workplace administrator or security system may be able to see your account connection or activity associated with it. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot or move your mouse, but those facts do not make it invisible or approved by your employer. Check the rules that apply to your workplace before connecting. The assistant cannot guarantee what a particular employer can detect.

## What data do you store?

Idle Pilot keeps the account details and preferences needed to provide your service: your name/email, the workplace account you selected, its connection information, your hours, breaks, time zone, other settings, activity history, and relevant billing records. It does not collect your Slack/Teams message or file content for presence scheduling. See [https://idlepilot.com/privacy/](https://idlepilot.com/privacy/) for the full policy and contact [support@idlepilot.com](mailto:support@idlepilot.com) for a personal data request.

## Can my manager see my Slack presence history?

People in the workspace can see your current availability. Idle Pilot does not provide your manager with a shared activity report, but it cannot guarantee what your organization records using its own tools or account controls. Ask your workplace about its monitoring policy rather than treating the green dot, a private Idle Pilot Activity page, or a particular Slack plan as a guarantee that history is unavailable.

## Is using a Slack presence tool against company policy?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Are mouse jiggler alternatives detectable by IT?

A workplace administrator or security system may be able to see your account connection or activity associated with it. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot or move your mouse, but those facts do not make it invisible or approved by your employer. Check the rules that apply to your workplace before connecting. The assistant cannot guarantee what a particular employer can detect.

## Can Teams detect a mouse jiggler?

A Teams availability dot alone does not tell you what an employer can detect. The answer depends on the organization’s device monitoring, account controls, and policies. Idle Pilot cannot verify a particular monitoring setup or promise that a jiggler or another tool is undetectable. Ask the relevant administrator and follow workplace rules.

## Do I need admin approval to use a mouse jiggler alternative?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Does a presence scheduler require admin approval?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Is using a Slack presence scheduler allowed?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Do presence scheduler alternatives require a Slack bot?

Idle Pilot does not add a bot to your workspace. You connect your own workplace account using a supported desktop setup method. The browser-extension method needs desktop Chrome or Edge, and the extension can be removed after success. Workspace rules can still restrict that connection, and administrators may see account sessions. Check permission before connecting; another product may work differently.

## Are Slack presence schedulers allowed by workspace admins?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Can a cloud schedule be visible to my employer?

A workplace administrator or security system may be able to see your account connection or activity associated with it. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot or move your mouse, but those facts do not make it invisible or approved by your employer. Check the rules that apply to your workplace before connecting. The assistant cannot guarantee what a particular employer can detect.

## Can my company tell I am using a Slack presence tool?

A workplace administrator or security system may be able to see your account connection or activity associated with it. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot or move your mouse, but those facts do not make it invisible or approved by your employer. Check the rules that apply to your workplace before connecting. The assistant cannot guarantee what a particular employer can detect.

## Does fixing Slack auto-away require admin permissions?

Your organization decides what is permitted. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot, but a work computer or account may have restrictions on extensions, connection methods, or outside services. Check with the relevant workplace administrator if unsure. A successful setup, or being able to remove the extension afterward, is not evidence of workplace approval. Do not bypass a restriction.

## Does my company IT department see Idle Pilot?

A workplace administrator or security system may be able to see your account connection or activity associated with it. Idle Pilot does not install a workspace bot or move your mouse, but those facts do not make it invisible or approved by your employer. Check the rules that apply to your workplace before connecting. The assistant cannot guarantee what a particular employer can detect.

## Is my connected platform session secure?

Idle Pilot uses the connected account for its stated availability function and limits access to what is needed to provide the service. No service can promise perfect security. Keep sign-in links, setup commands, passwords, and account-access details private. To stop this connection, use **Dashboard → Switch → Remove**; request full account deletion through Support or [support@idlepilot.com](mailto:support@idlepilot.com). Review [https://idlepilot.com/privacy/](https://idlepilot.com/privacy/) before connecting if you have concerns.

## Can my employer see that I use one of these tools?

Possibly. Idle Pilot does not promise that your account connection is invisible. Your workplace can have its own account controls and security tools. Use the service only where your workplace agreements, platform terms, and organization’s policies allow it. A successful connection is not proof of approval.

## Can my company see these apps?

It may. Workplace administrators or security tools can have visibility into account connections or device activity. Idle Pilot does not promise invisibility or workplace approval. Check your own organization’s policy before connecting, regardless of which type of availability tool you choose.
