Terms and Conditions
Last updated: April 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of Idle Pilot (app.idlepilot.com), operated by Idle Pilot LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
The Service
Idle Pilot keeps your Slack presence set to “active” during your configured work hours. To provide this service, you grant us temporary access to your Slack session credentials. We use these credentials solely to manage your presence status — we never access your messages, files, or other Slack content.
Your Account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Idle Pilot. Each account is for a single person. You may not share your login credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You are responsible for providing valid Slack credentials and maintaining your schedule configuration. If your Slack credentials expire or become invalid, the service will pause until you re-link your account.
Billing & Cancellation
Idle Pilot is a paid subscription service billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate.
All sales are final. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods.
Prices may change with 30 days’ notice. Price changes apply at the start of your next billing period.
Free Trial
New users may receive a free trial period. No payment is required during the trial. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, the service will stop and your schedule will be disabled. We do not charge you unless you actively subscribe.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Idle Pilot
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to Idle Pilot to third parties
- Use Idle Pilot for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service

Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe you are engaging in abuse of the service, including but not limited to: fraud, reselling access, automated account creation, or activity that threatens the integrity of the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except where immediate action is necessary.
Your Responsibility
Idle Pilot is a productivity tool that manages your Slack presence status. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Idle Pilot complies with your employer’s policies, your employment agreements, and applicable laws. Idle Pilot is not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the service in your workplace.
Service Availability
We aim to keep Idle Pilot running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
Slack may change their platform in ways that affect our ability to provide the service. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt, but cannot guarantee compatibility with future Slack changes.
Intellectual Property
Idle Pilot, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Idle Pilot LLC. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the service as a subscriber.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Idle Pilot LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment, loss of income, or loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements, that your Slack presence will be maintained without interruption, or that the service will be compatible with all Slack configurations.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis — class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.
Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Data & Privacy
Your use of Idle Pilot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
