Where do I see notifications?

Choose Notifications in the left sidebar on a computer or the bell icon in the bottom navigation on a phone. A dot on the bell means there are unread notifications. Open a notification to mark it read and return to Dashboard for the related action.

What notifications can appear?

The list can show Connection needs attention, Schedule started, Schedule ended, Trial ending soon, Trial ended, and Schedule is still off. Read the related Dashboard warning to decide what to do; a connection warning usually calls for Re-link, while ended access calls for a subscription/payment action.

What does You're all caught up mean?

There are no notifications to show right now. It does not mean Work Hours is off or that you need to create another account. Use Dashboard for current presence and Activity for the history.

How do I change email preferences?

  1. Open Notifications.
  2. Choose the gear button labelled Notification settings.
  3. Switch the optional email categories on or off.
  4. Wait for each change to save. There is no separate Save button.

If Couldn't save. Please try again. appears, retry with a working connection and check the switch afterward. Changing these preferences does not pause Work Hours or cancel billing.

How do I stop start/end-of-day emails?

In Notifications → gear → Notification settings, turn Schedule activity off. It controls emails about the daily start/end of autopilot. You can still use Dashboard and Activity to check your schedule.

How do I stop trial reminders or setup emails?

Use Notification settings and turn off Trial & account updates and/or Setup reminders, depending on what you want to stop. The settings describe the included messages. Signing out or uninstalling the extension is not an email-unsubscribe action.

How do I stop return offers or founder/product emails?

In Notification settings, turn Retention and return emails off for return, ended-trial, and pending-cancellation messages. Turn Product updates from Gabi off for optional product/founder emails. Where an email offers unsubscribe or preference links, you can use those as well.

Why can I not turn off some emails?

Critical account alerts and Billing notices are marked Always on. They concern important connection/account problems and payment-related notices. The app does not show an off switch for those categories.

Do email preferences change the notification list or work schedule?

The settings dialog specifically controls which emails you receive. Do not assume that turning a category off deletes existing in-app notifications, cancels a payment, or stops scheduled presence. Use the appropriate Dashboard or subscription control for those actions.

How do I view my activity history?

Open Activity in the sidebar or use the activity icon at the bottom on a phone. The weekly timeline and recent events show recorded periods such as Active, Break, Paused, and Away. Use the week arrows to look back and select a day to focus the view. Click the displayed date range to return to this week.

Can my manager see my Idle Pilot activity page?

The Activity page is part of your signed-in Idle Pilot account; it is not a team-monitoring dashboard or a shared report for managers. Your Slack/Teams availability remains visible in the workplace platform, and your organization's own tools and policies can apply. Do not treat the private Activity page as a guarantee that workplace sessions are invisible.

Is Activity a time tracker or proof that I was working?

No. It shows Idle Pilot's recorded availability activity. It does not record your mouse movement, documents, browsing, meetings attended, or work completed. An Active period is not proof that you read a message or performed a task.

Why do the dates or clock format look different from my phone?

Idle Pilot's interface uses English date/time formatting. Your Work Hours time zone is the setting to review for when the schedule should run; changing email preferences or browser language does not change the saved work hours.
