Take time off with Slack or Teams
Use Slack Vacation Mode at session start or manually pause Work Hours for Teams, holidays, and time off during the day.

Does Vacation Mode work with Teams or watch all status changes?
Vacation Mode is Slack-only. It checks selected Slack status presets once when a presence session starts, not continuously throughout the day. On Slack, choose Dashboard → Vacation Mode → Configure, select at least one preset, and Save. Set the corresponding status in Slack before the session begins.
For Teams time off, or to stop immediately partway through a day, turn Dashboard → Work Hours off. You can also disable individual weekday switches. Remember to re-enable them when returning; the editor has no dated holiday calendar. A Teams status message does not activate Slack Vacation Mode. Pausing does not cancel your subscription.
