Freedom Pass costs USD 9 per month or USD 60 per year in USD; check your own checkout for its currency and any offer. The standard no-card trial starts when you connect Slack or Microsoft Teams successfully for the first time, not at signup. It lasts 3 days, or 7 days if that connection succeeds within 3 hours of signup.

Is there a free trial, and when does it start?

The standard trial is 3 days, without a credit card. It starts when you connect Slack or Microsoft Teams successfully for the first time, not when you merely create an Idle Pilot account. If that first connection succeeds within the 3-hour sign-up bonus window, the first trial is 7 days. Check the remaining-trial message on Dashboard for your own account.

Do I need to cancel a free trial to avoid being charged?

A trial without a paid subscription does not turn into a charge by itself. If you do not actively subscribe, scheduled presence stops when the trial ends. If you already bought Freedom Pass during the trial, manage that paid subscription to stop future renewals.

What happens after my trial ends?

The saved schedule stops running unless you have paid access. Your settings remain saved. On Dashboard, choose Subscribe, See pricing, Resubscribe, or the action shown for your current state, select a billing period, and review the checkout before purchasing. After access is restored, review Work Hours and the workplace connection.

How do I see how many trial days I have left?

Open Dashboard. The trial banner shows the days remaining and a subscription action. If your workplace connection has never succeeded, the trial clock has not started yet. Follow the account's displayed dates instead of assuming that a general offer applies to you.

Will reconnecting or switching give me another trial?

Normally no. Each Idle Pilot account has one trial. Removing a workplace, changing platforms, or reinstalling the extension does not normally restart it. If Idle Pilot sent your account a specific return or reconnect offer, follow that offer's displayed eligibility and dates; it is not an offer for every customer.

What is Freedom Pass?

It is the single paid Idle Pilot plan. It covers scheduled availability for one Slack workspace or one Teams account at a time, work hours for each day, optional lunch breaks, Activity History, and the relevant controls for your selected platform. Vacation Mode is available for Slack. There are no different feature tiers to choose between.

How much does Idle Pilot cost?

The standard Freedom Pass prices are below. Monthly and yearly have the same included plan features. Yearly is one annual payment, not twelve separate monthly payments.

Your checkout shows the amount and currency you are agreeing to pay, including any applicable offer. Check it before confirming. The USD yearly price is equivalent to USD 5 per month, but the USD 60 is charged annually.

How do I buy Freedom Pass?

On Dashboard, choose the displayed Subscribe, Subscribe to keep access, See pricing, or Resubscribe action. In the plan dialog, choose Monthly or Yearly, check the total and billing frequency, and use the displayed button to continue to checkout. Review the payment details and complete the purchase there. The dialog initially selects Yearly; choose Monthly explicitly if you prefer monthly payments.

What payment methods do you accept?

The pricing page lists major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Use the payment methods actually offered in your checkout. Do not assume that every wallet, bank transfer, or local payment method is available.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. On a computer, click your name/email at the bottom left of Idle Pilot and choose Manage subscription. On a phone, open Profile → Manage subscription. Choose the cancellation option for Freedom Pass and finish its confirmation. You keep access through the current paid period; the Dashboard then shows that the subscription is set to cancel and, when available, its ending date.

If you already removed your workplace and are back on the connection screen, the account menu and Profile navigation are unavailable there. Use the support launcher or email hi@idlepilot.com to ask for cancellation help. Ask for explicit confirmation; a chat request alone does not confirm cancellation.

Does pausing, uninstalling, or signing out cancel the subscription?

No. Turning Work Hours off, removing the extension, disconnecting Slack/Teams, signing out, or deleting a home-screen shortcut does not cancel paid renewal. Use Manage subscription and complete the subscription cancellation if you want to stop future renewals.

Can I get a refund for unused days?

The published terms say sales are final and do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps access through the period already paid. For a particular billing concern, use Support or email hi@idlepilot.com. Do not assume a refund exception has been approved until support confirms it. Full terms: https://idlepilot.com/terms/.

Will a price change affect a period I already paid for?

The terms provide 30 days' notice of price changes and say that a change applies at the start of the next billing period. Check the renewal information and any notice for your own subscription. Do not infer an account-specific charge from the standard price table alone.

Does the billing currency change my work hours or language?

No. The currency shown for payment is separate from the Work Hours time zone. The app interface remains in English. Before buying, review the actual checkout currency; ask Support if it is not what you expected. A self-service change to an existing subscription's currency is not promised by these instructions.

Can I try Freedom Pass without a credit card?

Yes. You do not enter a card for the standard trial. It starts with your first successful Slack/Teams connection: 3 days, or 7 days when you connect within 3 hours of signing up. Check Dashboard for your own remaining time. Unless you actively buy a subscription, the no-card trial ends without a charge and the saved schedule pauses.
